Harvesting 2018: agrarians have started rye, oats harvesting

09.07.2018 22:34 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of this year Jul 9, Ukrainian agrarians have already harvested 2,000 tons rye and 900 tons oats, Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports. As to the report, as of this year Jul 9, Ukrainian agrarians have already harvested in total 8.36 million tons early grains grains/leguminous crops at 2.8 million ha (29% total planned areas to be harvested), with average yield being 29.8 metric centners per ha. Reportedly, as of this year Jul 9, the Ukrainian agrarians have harvested 5.5 million tons winter wheat at 1,810.000 ha (29% total planned areas to be harvested), average yield — 30.3 metric centners per ha); spring wheat — 8,100 tons at 3,300 ha (2%), average yield — 24.9 metric centners per ha; winter barley — 2.4 million tons at 709,300 ha (86%), average yield — 34.0 metric centners per ha; spring barley — 221,300 tons at 120,200 ha (8%), average yield — 18.4 metric centners per ha; peas — 222,100 tons at 161,000 ha (38%), average yield — 13.8 metric centners per ha. Besides, as of this week, Ukrainian 23 regions agrarians continued winter rape harvesting. As of this year Jul 9, agrarians have got 1.1 million tons winter rape at 475,600 ha (48%), average yield — 23.2 metric centners per ha.
