Since the beginning of 2025, 117 agricultural enterprises have received UAH 318.7 million under the Affordable Loans at 5-7-9 programme

22.01.2025 20:54 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Since the beginning of 2025, 194 agricultural enterprises have received more than UAH 1 billion in bank loans for development. Of these, 117 farms were financed for UAH 318.7 million under the Government’s Affordable Loans at 5–7-9 programme.

Under the Affordable Loans at 5–7-9 programme, the largest amount of loans was provided to businesses in the following regions:

Odesa region- UAH 44.7 million (8 enterprises);

Kirovohrad region — UAH 41.5 million (15);

Kyiv region — UAH 33.3 million (11);

Kharkiv region — UAH 31.7 million (7);

Volyn region — UAH 23.8 million (7);

Poltava region — UAH 23.4 million (5);

Dnipropetrovsk region — UAH 18.3 million (7);

Ternopil region — UAH 16.8 million (8).

Farmers in the following regions received the largest amount of loans under various programmes:

Cherkasy region — UAH 270.5 million (11 enterprises);

Lviv region — UAH 190 million (16);

Odesa region — UAH 97.2 million (24);

Dnipropetrovsk region — UAH 87.9 million (11);

Poltava region — UAH 58.1 million (9);

Kyiv region — UAH 57.6 million (16);

Vinnytsia region — UAH 55.6 million (15);

Kirovohrad region — UAH 53.9 million (23).

In 2024, 13,088 agricultural enterprises received almost UAH 104.5 billion in bank loans for development. And under the Affordable Loans at 5–7-9 programme, 8,750 farms were financed for UAH 46.9 billion.

Concessional financing for agricultural producers under the Affordable Loans at 5–7-9 programme in 2024–2025 is made possible with support from the World Bank under the Ukraine Agriculture Recovery Inclusive Support Emergency (ARISE) Project. The programme facilitates access to bank lending for micro and small businesses. Farmers can receive a loan of up to UAH 90 million. Loans are granted at 5–9% per annum, depending on the loan category and the type of business entity.
