Sichuan province ready to bring more companies to China-Belarus Great Stone park

As of yesterday, following a meeting of a Chinese delegation with representatives of Minsk City Hall and the mechanical engineering company Belkommunmash, Alexander Yaroshenko, Head of the Administration of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, said Sichuan Province of China is ready to boost the number of its companies within the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, Belarus Radio reports.
«It has been noted today that the conditions for Chinese companies at the park are even more favorable than in China. Our partners are ready to consider bringing other companies of Sichuan Province to the Great Stone park,» Yaroshenko admitted.
As to the report, he spoke about the prospects of making supercapacitors for Belarusian electric buses. It is to be mentioned, today these components are manufactured in China.
«We expect that in the future, a company resident of the Great Stone park will produce such supercapacitors in Belarus. This will allow for reducing the price of the products from the point of view of logistics. Besides, an important point is the convergence of Belarusian and Chinese solutions and technologies that we hope to achieve. The main thing is that the resident will make supercapacitors in Belarus and cooperate with Belkommunmash. This is a finished joint product. Efforts will be made to make the electric buses competitive on foreign markets,» Yaroshenko stressed.
As to him, this company is expected to be built already by the yearend.
