The State Agency for Science, Innovation and Information supports the creation of innovative BIONIC Hill Park

On June 8, 2012 year the State Agency for Science, Innovation and Information of Ukraine and UDP signed a bilateral memorandum of cooperation to create an innovative park BIONIC Hill. The Memorandum signed by Volodymyr Semynozhenko and Valeriy Kodetskyi.
The parties agreed to work together and use all available means and resources to implement this ambitious project, whose goal is to create in Kyiv recognized the East-European platform for the development of high-tech business. The tasks provided by the Memorandum correspond to the priorities established by the law of the state policy in the area of innovation.
«The State Agency for Science, Innovation and Information undertakes to ensure government funding of individual components of the BIONIC Hill. This project is profitable for the state as a national and municipal development institute, and participating for high-tech companies as an effective environment for business innovation and commercialization. It is planned that the volume of exports of high technology products with high added value will reach $ 700 million per year. We are also ready to contribute and fully attract high-tech companies to participate in the project and create a positive international image of the innovation park»- Volodymyr Semynozhenko said.
«In turn, UDP as the initiator of this project is to provide not only the construction and operation offacilities in the BIONIC Hill, but also is to provide the integrated management of innovation and development of the park» — Valeriy Kodetskyi confirmed.
Reference: the creation of innovative BIONIC Hill Park provides almost 35 thousand new jobs in innovative sectors of the economy, it also provides revenues in the country foreign direct investment and the attraction of new technologies, the growth of gross regional product and create new sources of filling the budgets of all levels.
The total area of innovation park BIONIC Hill — 147 ha.
