2011 budget deficit 2.7 times down

30.01.2012 14:18 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — The state budget deficit in 2011 compared to 2010 decreased by 2.7 times to 23.554 billion UAH (1 USD — 7.99 UAH), according to the Finance Ministry’s information on the fulfillment of the consolidated and state budget of Ukraine for the past year. General fund of the state budget was fulfilled with a deficit of 20.9402 billion UAH, consolidated budget — 23.0545 billion UAH. State budget revenues amounted to 314.5725 billion UAH, which is 30.7% more than in 2010. Tax receipts for the reporting period amounted to 261.605 billion UAH (+56.8%), non-tax 49.0434 billion UAH (-24.6%). General fund of the state budget received 265.8226 billion UAH for 2011. Actual receipts rose by 28.1% against 2010. The total amount of cash expenditures of the consolidated budget of Ukraine in 2011 amounted to 416.6101 billion UAH, which is 38.7672 billion UAH more than in 2010. Cash outlays of the state budget increased by 29.8258 billion UAH up to 333.4145 billion UAH. Earlier, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said that Ukraine’s budget deficit in 2011 amounted to approximately 1.7% of GDP.
