Ukraine and China make active cooperation in agrarian area

Cooperation between Ukraine and China in area of agriculture will be a priority direction of progress of trade and economic relations of two countries. Such arrangement was reached during official visit of the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Prysyazhnyuk to the Chinese National Republic.
According to the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, the basic directions of cooperation between Ukraine and China are joint construction in Ukraine cattle-breeding complexes with the subsequent realization of production both in Ukraine and abroad, as well as creation of joint ventures for cultivation of soya and wheat with the subsequent realization abroad. Besides, China is interested in construction modern grain elevator and granaries, construction of hotbeds for all-the-year-round cultivation of vegetables and creation of some wholesale vegetable markets in the territory of Ukraine. Also it is planned to strengthen cooperation in scientific area and in area of biomedicine and bioveterinary medicine.
Since August 18, till August 20, 2011 was held official visit of the Ukrainian delegation headed by the Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk to the Chinese National Republic during which meetings with the Minister of Agriculture of People`s Republic of China Han Chanfu and Vice President of China Eximbank Zhu Sintsinom took place. Within the limits of visit it has been held the First joint session of Ukranian-Chinese subcommittee on cooperation in the field of an agriculture, as well as business-forum for Ukrainian and Chinese enterprises working in area of agriculture. Besides the Ukrainian delegation also has visited leading enterprises of agricultural area of China.
In total during visit 6 bilateral documents have been signed.
