Ukraine/China this year Jan-Aug goods trade up 21%

05.11.2018 21:47 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of this week, a Ukrainian delegation headed by Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv is on a working visit to the People’s Republic of China, Interfax-Ukraine says referring to the Kubiv Facebook report. It is to be admitted, the delegation is to stay within China within Nov 05–08 in order to participate within the China International Import Expo 2018. As to the report, within this year Jan-Aug, Ukraine-China bilateral goods’ trade has grown to US$5.8 milliard, up 21% against last year similar. «China is a strategically important partner for Ukraine, our trade is constantly growing. Thus, within this year 8 months, the Ukrainian-Chinese bilateral goods’ trade has boosted by 21% — to about about US$5.8 milliard,» Kubiv wrote. As to Kubiv, Ukraine and China are going to boost their bilateral trade up to US$10 milliard within the next 5 years. «For that, we will continue implementing the Ukraine-China action plan to implement the initiative of the Greater Silk Road and the Sea Silk Road of the XXI century,» he admitted.
