Ukrainian this year Jan-Jul poultry meat export boosted to almost 185,000 tons

As of now, the XIV International Conference ’Poultry Farming 2018’ is going on within Truskavets (Zakarpatska region), Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports.
As to the report, the Conference is held within Sept 11–14; the Conference is attended by Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Victor Sheremeta, representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the Ukrainian State Service for Foods Safety and Consumer Protection and Ukrainian profile associations; the Conference is also attended by the agricultural producers, exporters and international experts.
As to the report, within the Conference the urgent issues of the development of the Ukrainian and global poultry industries and their new prospects were discussed.
While speaking within the Conference, the reporters told that now Ukraine continues to boost its poultry products export and open new markets. Thus, within the 7 months of 2018, Ukraine has exported 184,600 tons of poultry meat and edible offal, up 8.9% against 2017 similar. It is to be admitted, the Ukrainian poultry products are exported to 80 countries; in meanwhile, within 2018 four new markets were opened - Albania, Ghana, Hong Kong and Morocco.
All those speaking at the Conference admitted that the poultry meat/products’ global demand will continue growing each year.
It is to be admitted, taking into account global trends, Ukraine is now boosting its poultry output and is approaching the global leading countries. Thus, within this year 7 months, Ukrainian agricultural producers have sold 809,600 tons poultry meat, up 5% against last year similar.
As of now, Ukraine ranks 7th within the broiler meat global exporters’ list. In meanwhile, the world largest poultry meat importers are Japan, Mexico, the EU, Iraq, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates and Angola.
