Harvesting 2018: agrarians already threshed 22.4 million tons early grains/leguminous crops

30.07.2018 22:11 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of this year Jul 30, Ukrainian agrarians have threshed 22.4 million tonnes early grains/leguminous crops at 7 million hectares (70% total planned areas), average yield — 32.2 metric centners per ha, Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports. Thus, in part., agrarians have got 17 million tons winter wheat at 4.9 million ha (76%), average yield — 34.8 metric centners per ha; spring wheat — 54,400 tons at 22,700 ha (12%), average yield — 23.9 metric centners per ha; winter barley — 3 million tons at 850,500 ha (97%), average yield — 34.9 metric centners per ha; spring barley — 1.6 million tons at 793,000 ha (49%), average yield — 20.8 metric centners per ha; peas — 590,500 tons at 342,400 ha (79%), average yield — 17.2 metric centners per ha. Besides, as of this year Jul 30, agrarians have got 86,000 tons rye at 36,000 ha (24%), average yield — 24.2 metric centners per ha, and 25,600 tons rye at 14,300 ha (7%), average yield — 17.9 metric centners per ha. Also, agrarians have threshed 2.4 million tons winter rape at 930,000 ha (95%), average yield — 25.9 metric centners per ha, alongside with 21,000 tons spring rape at 12,000 ha (17%), average yield — 17.3 metric centners per ha.
