President launched seed plant of LLC “Pyatydni” within Volyn region

As of today, within the framework of his working trip to Volyn region, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has launched a seed plant of LLC «Pyatydni», President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, the President noted that opening of such a modern company is symbolic as the agricultural complex today is the foothold of the Ukrainian economy. «Today, 12% of GDP is agriculture. Agricultural complex has entered the largest source of foreign currency that flows into the state and ensures stability of Ukrainian hryvnia,» Poroshenko said.
As to the President, he is confident that the Ukrainian agriculture demonstrates active development.
«Intensification of production, use of plant protection products, fertilizers, technologies ensures crops never reached before,» he noted.
As to the report, Poroshenko also emphasizes that Ukrainian farmers should take advantage of the demand for their products for industry development.
«I am confident that the growth in demand for agricultural products must be used as an inventive to innovation and investment development of the agricultural sector,» he added.
As to the report, the President called the opening of a modern European-type company within Volyn region an important event not only for the company, but also for the whole region, as the equipment of the plant meets the high standards of European quality and will ensure high-performance and high-quality production that will allow exports of products and provide foreign exchange earnings.
