Groisman: Our task is to modernize Ukraine as much as possible

28.12.2016 10:14 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of this week, while speaking on air of the ICTV channel, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman said the priorities determined in the 2017 State Budget by the Government will make it possible to provide a comprehensive modernization of the country and develop the national economy, Government Portal reports. «We have fixed the topmost objectives enabling to launch overall modernization of the country and to develop the national economy,» Groisman admitted referring to the 2017 Budget. «Our task is to modernize Ukraine as much as possible,» he emphasized. As to him, within 2017 in Ukraine there will be triggered a process of large-scale construction of roads, thus enabling to stimulate development of the national economy and to create thousands of new jobs in related areas. Besides, the 2017 Budget includes programs to support the Ukrainian rural areas, in particular the areas of livestock breeding, horticulture, berries farming, agricultural engineering. As to Groisman, among the priorities for 2017 are funding and support for Ukrainian troops, infrastructure, energy efficiency and Ukrainian gas output restoring.
