Groysman: We will force regulatory authorities to stop 'creating nightmares' for business

02.12.2016 18:10 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of today, while speaking within the Second International Trade and Industry Conference «FTAs: Opportunities and Challenges for Ukraine and Partners», Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman told he is open to dialogue with the businesses and will not tolerate the pressure of controlling bodies on entrepreneurs, Government Portal reports. «I am well aware of the current problems with the law enforcement system, with customs authorities, regulatory agencies. They will either stop ‘creating nightmares’ for business, or I’ll declare an open war,» he said. «I will not tolerate when someone allows himself to come to an acting company and start torturing it,» he stressed. As to the PM, the Ukrainian Government is absolutely open to business. Hence, on a regular basis, every 2–3 months, it summons meetings with entrepreneurs, with the participation of representatives of regulatory authorities, within which the parties consider systematic and specific cases of pressure of controlling bodies on business. Following the discussions, there are taken measures including firing officials who make abuses. As to the report, Groisman reminded that at a recent meeting, the Government had abolished 367 regulations of the Soviet Union times, which had been in effect and under which there had been accrued penalties.
