Ukrainian PM meets with YES Supervisory Board

As of today, the Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has held a meeting with the Yalta European Strategy (YES) Supervisory Board, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, the sides have discussed the issues of the Government activity as for carrying out reforms in Ukraine, the state of implementation of the Minsk agreements and the prolongation of sanctions against Russia.
«Yalta European Strategy is a good platform for debate, quite interesting and efficient, as well as a very good tradition and a very necessary meeting for our country. But today it is also very symbolic, because we all want one of the next meetings to take place in Yalta,» Groisman said.
As to the report, the PM thanked the YES Supervisory Board for the effort «to fill the content of these meetings» and briefed his interlocutors about the Government having had approved the Plan of priority actions by the end of 2016.
«Our main task is macroeconomic stability,» he pointed out.
As to Groisman, presently one of the Government strategic priorities is European and Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as further cooperation with the International Monetary Fund. Besides, the Government also focuses on the completion of the ratification of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement as well as visa liberalization with the EU for Ukraine.
Groisman emphasized that Ukraine had met all the requirements of the Action Plan to liberalize the EU visa regime.
It is to be admitted, the meeting was attended by the Chairman of the YES Supervisory Board, President of Poland (1995–2005) Aleksander Kwasniewski, the President of the European Parliament (2002–2004) Pat Cox and the founder of the YES and EastOne Group Viktor Pinchuk.
