Ukrainian Interior Ministry summed up 2015 procurement via ProZorro e-system

29.12.2015 15:08 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As to some indicators, prices for purchased resources have been decreased by 20% due to the transparency of trading on the new electronic platform, Government Portal says referring to the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs press service report. As to the report, the Ministry continues to steadily implement the basic principles of public procurement, confirming in practice the efficiency of budget funds and their substantial savings. Reportedly, within Aug-Dec 2015 the Ministry carried out 25 procedures of electronic reverse auctions on basic material resources (uniforms, personal protective equipment, vehicles, fuel etc). As to the report, making trades via the ProZorro public procurement system made it possible for the Ministry to determine the most competitive prices. The results of monitoring cost, procurement quantitative parameters indicate that the Interior Ministry managed to achieve one of the lowest prices to all customers’ defense and security sector of Ukraine on logistics and resource destination goods for military/law enforcement units.
