Shymkiv: Presidential Administration thoroughly analyzes feedback and propositions on "Strategy of Reforms – 2020"

The first feedback and propositions on the President’s «Strategy of Reforms - 2020» demonstrate that people strive for positive institutional changes, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office says referring to the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, Head of the Executive Committee of the National Council of Reforms Dmytro Shymkiv report.
«We’ve received more than 100 comments and propositions in two weeks,» Dmytro Shymkiv informed at the briefing.
«We’ve processed all the proposals and found constructive opinions in about a quarter of them. We will analyze them and begin their implementation,» the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration said.
As to him, the proposals include the necessity of enhancing transparency of the budget as an instrument of hampering corruption among government officials and instrument of pressure and control for the public. There was a proposition to elaborate the so-called «Bill of Rights» that will ban some actions of the state. Also, there was a proposal to elaborate civilized law on lobbying.
A questionnaire with different variants of key indicators of efficiency in 2020 was uploaded to the website reforms.in.ua.
«We received about 300 answers and only a quarter of indicators set in the „Strategy - 2020» didn’t match the responses," he said.
Dmytro Shymkiv emphasized that citizens and experts had a patriotic position and were confident that Ukraine would manage to make a breakthrough in global economic rankings.
