Arbuzov: National agricultural enterprises boosted production by 10.2%

Over 5 months of 2013 the national agricultural enterprises have increased production by 10.2%. Guided by such dynamics, the volumes of agricultural output can reach UAH 260 bln during the two years to come. The First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov declared today, Government Portal reports.
«Nowadays the agrarian sector is among the first to demonstrate effectiveness of the Program of activization of the economic development for 20132014. Over 5 months of the current year the amounts of agricultural production have boosted by 5.1% as compared to the respective period of last year. The biggest growth was demonstrated by enterprises of agrarian sector that produced by 10.2% of agricultural products more than over the analogous period a year ago. At this, the volumes of agriculture output have grown in 21 regions of the country,» Serhiy Arbuzov noted.
At the same time, the First Vice Prime Minister considers, increased agricultural production demonstrated by private economies is significant. This year they have produced by 1.2% products more than in 2012.
«Output expansion of agricultural products by economies of the population is one of the key tasks of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy. It will become possible through to the state support of farms, realization of pilot projects on production and sales of dairy products from agricultural cooperatives and development of a network of wholesale markets,» Serhiy Arbuzov emphasized.
