Ukrainian Government will provide baking enterprises with sufficient amount of flour for bread baking

27.12.2012 15:49 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — The Government has decided to prolong the regulations which govern tripartite agreements between the Agrarian Fund, regional state administrations and baking enterprises for the supply of flour produced by Agrarian Fund to these enterprises for baking of mass consumption kinds of bread. This was told by Ivan Bisyuk, the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine during a briefing at the Government House on Dec 26, Government Portal reports. The First Deputy Minister recalled that this year there has been harvested the third largest crop in the history of the state, it constitutes 46.2 million tons of grain, of them - 15 million tons of wheat. The Agrarian Fund has currently accumulated 1.8 million tons of grain and this amount is sufficient to ensure food security. «This is enough for all regions of the state and all the baking companies to have as much flour as they had ordered,» he said. Ivan Bisyuk also assured that the Government, Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Agrarian Fund are currently doing everything possible to ensure baking enterprises with a sufficient amount of flour at an affordable price.
