Cabinet to curtail agrarians electricity tariffs 20%

Cabinet is going to low agrarians
electric power tariffs down 20%, reported Prime Minister Yuliya
Tymoshenko on Government meeting.
As to Tymoshenko, tariffs lowing draft Law is already
submitted to Ministry of Fuel and Energy for examining.
Presently Cabinet is as well examining possibility of
electricity untimely payments fines shortening.
As to Tymoshenko, fines payments will be controlled by
special inspection (to be formed in short time).
Besides, Cabinet is to examine electricity excessive
consumption fines problem.
In Apr National Commission for Electric Power Regulation
has grown electricity wholesale price up UAH0.42/kwh (+3%), to
UAH0.14.4/kwh.
Agrarians stocked up 330.900t mineral fertilizers (67% necessary)
Agro Perspective (Kyiv) — As of Apr 12, agricultural
companies have stored 330.935t mineral fertilizers (67% required total)
for springtime works complex, reported Prime Minister Yuliya Tymoshenko
speaking on springtime field works selector conference.
Tymoshenko admitted in last year similar period agrarians had
stored about same quantity mineral fertilizers.
«Presently there is no mineral fertilizers supply problem,» she
said.
Reportedly, as of Mar 21, agrarians have stocked up 222.000t
mineral fertilizers.
Cabinet agreed with chemical fertilizers producers upon mineral
(in particular nitric) fertilizers prices fixing as much as UAH825/t for
agrarians carrying out springtime field works.
Experts estimate domestic annual fertilizers demand 1 million
tons (in terms of nutritive substances).
