Agrarians attracted UAH4.6 milliard credits

22.05.2008 11:03 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of May 15, 2008 agrarians have attracted in total UAH4.6 milliard credit resources since 2008 beginning, reported Grygoriy Zub, Ministry of Agrarian Policy Finance Department Director.

As to Zub, agrarians have attracted ≈ UAH3 milliard short-term credits (medium-terms – UAH1.1 milliard, long-term – UAH0.5 milliard).

Finance Department Director made it known this year attracted credits amount is ≈ 1,5 times up against last year similar.

It is to be reminded, 2008 State budget stipulates UAH1 milliard is to be allocated for financing of Agrarian-Industrial Complex credits cheapening. Allocation usage procedure was determined by Cabinet Decree ¹ 126 (from Feb 27, 2008). As to Decree, credits compensations are to be granted on contest basis to Agrarian-Industrial Complex companies which had obtained credit on condition if annual interest rates amount doesn’t exceed 18% for short-term (12 months and below), 17% for medium-term (12-36 months) and long-term (36-60 months) credits in national currency as well as 12% for short-term and 11% for medium/long-term credits in foreign currency.
