Manufacture of fresh vegetables for the market in the USA has reached(achieved) a record level in $10,6 billion in 2006, having increased for 3 % in comparison with the last year, is spoken in the report published ERS USDA, informs « Agrooglyad: îâî÷³ that frukti ». Manufacture of a sweet potato (batat) in the USA has increased for 5 % in 2006 - up to 740 thousand t owing to 6 % of increase in productivity at small decrease(reduction) in areas under crops. The increase in consumption of a sweet potato in the USA, predictably, will allow the prices to be above a level 2005, making $0,4/kg.
