Boryspil Agro Trade Holding launched eggs processing plant in Kyiv region

18.12.2006 12:31 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As to Agro-Industrial Holding Boryspil Agro Trade press-conference report, Holding has brought into operation new eggs processing plant Ovostar (assuring 21,000 eggs per hour processing) on Dec 15 in Kyiv region.

As to report, new plant investments exceeded US$3 mn. Plant was created on basis of previous egg powder workshop; as of now, plant can assure yearly 2,290 MT total output (incl. 1,400 MT egg powder, 90 MT egg white powder, 240 MT egg yolk powder, 200 MT egg liquid white and 360 MT egg liquid pasteurized products).

While speaking on press-conference, Holding representative admitted Ukrainian domestic eggs processing products consumption market is presently satisfied only 40%.

Holding representative said over 50 companies (confectioneries, bakeries, meat processors, mayonnaise producers) got interested in Ovostar products still when Plant initial equipment installation stage was going on.

It is to be reminded, vertically integrated Holding Boryspil Agro Trade which started functioning on Ukrainian market since 1993 incorporates 7 companies (incl. poultry factory Ukraine, Experimental Mixed Feeds Plant Boryspolskiy and Trading House Krushynskiy Poultry Integrated Plant). As of now, Holding is engaged as well in grains cultivation.
