Harvesting 2018: agrarians have got new grains crop one million tons

25.06.2018 22:13 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of this year Jun 22, Ukrainian agrarians have threshed 1.1 million tons of the new crop grains at 349,000 ha (average yield — 31.6 metric centners per ha), Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports. It is to be admitted, within this week Vinnytsia region agrarians have also joined the Ukrainian grains harvesting campaign. Thus, as of this year Jun 22, agrarians have got 211,000 tons winter wheat at 73,000 ha (average yield — 29.1 metric centners per ha); winter barley — 877,000 tons at 269,000 ha (average yield — 32.6 metric centners per ha); peas — 13,000 tons at 7,000 ha (average yield — 17.9 metric centners per ha). In meanwhile, within this week agrarians continued harvesting the winter rape. Thus, as of this year Jun 22, agrarians have got 62,000 tons winter rape at 36,500 ha (average yield — 17.0 metric centners per ha ) It is to be reminded, the Ukrainians need for their consumption just 1/5 of the country domestic total wheat crop.
