Sarmat Apr sales up 19%, to 2.9 mn dl

Within Apr 2006 Brewery Group Sarmat has boosted beer sales to 2.876 mn dl, up 0.469 mn dl (+ 19%) against Apr 2005, reported Sarmat press-service.
«In my opinion, Company Apr success was motivated mainly with new product Drive Max market launching (which has now occupied 0.3% sale market already), alongside with putting into production of a unique new-type bottle Missile as well as all due to our having redesigning all ready products labels and optimized distribution processes through retail sale network enlargement,» said Mykhailo Grankin, Sarmat Sales Director.
As to press-service, within Apr 2006 Sarmat beer output has risen to 3.306 mn dl, up 0.886 mn dl (+ 37%) against Apr 2005, reported Sarmat press-service.
Within Jan-Apr 2006 Brewery Group Sarmat plants have raised beer production to 7.861 mn dl, up 1.214 mn dl (+ 18%) against Jan-Apr 2005.
As earlier reported, this year Mar Sarmat beer sales had boosted to 2.203 mn dl, up 0.497 mn dl (+ 29.1%) as of last year similar.
Brewery Group Sarmat 2005 beer output totaled 29.5 mn dl, up 6.1 mn dl
(+ 26.4%) as of 2004, while 2005 sales had amounted to 6 mn dl (up 6% against 2004).
As of now, Group Sarmat is one of country 4 biggest beer producers; Group unites 5 breweries: OJSC Luganskiy Brewery, OJSC Beer and Soft Drinks Integrated Plant Crym, CJSC Dnipropetrivskiy Brewery Dnipro, company Poltavapyvo and Donetskiy Brewery.
As of 2005 results, Sarmat occupies 13.2% Ukrainian beer market.
CJSC Sarmat 99% shares are owned by Company SCM.
