Ukrainian President meets with Vice Premier of China

In Beijing, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych held a meeting with Vice Premier of China Ma Kai, President Viktor Yanukovych Press Office reports.
In the course of the meeting, the President noted that Ukraine attached a great importance to the functioning of Ukrainian-Chinese Joint Commission co-chairman of which is the Vice Premier of China.
Viktor Yanukovych emphasized the importance of implementation of all strategic decisions of the given Commission. «I will instruct the First Vice Premier Arbuzov to arrange a meeting with you after my visit in order to practically implement all the decisions as soon as possible,» he said.
The President emphasized that Ukraine would actively support the strategy of developing the Great Silk Road initiated by President of China Xi Jinping.
Viktor Yanukovych also expressed confidence that the enhancement of Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation had a strategic importance in both humanitarian and human aspects. «Today, we are filling our bilateral cooperation with practical sense,» he said.
According to the Head of State, broad bilateral cooperation will provide impetus to the development of various spheres in both Ukraine and China.
In his turn, Vice Premier of China expressed hope that the visit of Ukrainian President would be successful and give a powerful impetus to the development of bilateral relations.
Before the meeting, Viktor Yanukovych and Ma Kai watched the exhibition of Ukrainian-Chinese joint projects in air manufacturing, agro-industrial complex, agro-chemical sphere, infrastructure, coal industry, renewable energy and the project «Air Express».
