Vilkul will take part in ceremony of passing baton of Eurobasket from Slovenia to Ukraine

20.09.2013 17:45 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Vice Prime Minister Olexandr Vilkul will present a logo of EuroBasket 2015 and take part in the ceremony of passing the baton from Slovenia to Ukraine on 22 September, Government Portal reports. Presentation of the logo will be held on the Stožice, main basketball arena of Slovenia (Ljubljanacity), before the final match of EuroBasket 2013. Acting President of FIBA Europe Siril Kumans, Secretary General of FIBA Europe Kamil Nowak, president of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine Oleksandr Volkov, EuroBasket 2015 tournament director Markiyan Lubkivskyy will take part in briefing on the occasion of presentation of the logo. The participants also talk about plans of EuroBasket 2015 in Ukraine. The ceremony of passing the baton from the organizers of one championship in 2013 to organizers of EuroBasket 2015 will be held during a break in the match for 3rd place of this year’s championship. The ceremony will be attended by Kamil Nowak, Olexandr Vilkul, Olexandr Volkov, and EuroBasket 2013 tournament ambassador Radoslaw Nesterovich. Final matches of the EuroBasket 2015 will be held in 6 Ukrainian cities - Kyiv, Lviv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Odesa.
